  • 27th NGAPS Spring Walk, 6:30pm.Meet at NGES, walking a loop around New Germany.


  • 29th A Natural History of Mosses Lecture and Guided Walk @ Union Square Hall, 10:00am to 3:00pm. $30 per person. For more information or to register call Mary Morey 902-644-3459


  • 29th Variety Supper at Springfield Fire Hall from 4:30 to 6:00pm.  Supper consists of Casseroles, Salads, Baked Beans, Scalloped Potatoes, Cold Meats & Desserts.  Proceeds for Springfield United Baptist Church. Price: Adults: $10.; Ages 6-12: $5.   Ages 5 & under – Free.

  • 5th Variety Show @ Branch LaHave Community Hall, 1758 Lower Branch Road, 7:00pm featuring Dave Burbine & Traditional Country. Pie Auction and 50/50 draw. Canteen available. Admission $8. All proceeds for Hall purposes.

  • 1st Canoe with Greg. Meet at Veterans Memorial Boat Ramp at the north end of New Germany Lake, 8:00am.  Canoe or kayak for a guided paddle on the lake and north on the LaHave River. More info contact Greg at gdselig@ns.sympatico.ca  Rain date Sunday July 2nd.
