Monday to Friday 9:00am-4:00pm.
Extended hours on Wednesday evening by appointment.

Blood Collection

Every Wednesday: 8:00am–10:30am
Cost: $10.00 House Calls are $20.00 including collection and transport.

(Starting in February 2012 blood collection will be available on Monday morning instead of Wednesday.)

Blood collection is for people who have a doctor’s referral and need blood work done. It can save people a trip to a hospital lab.

Foot Clinic

Foot Clinic is for anyone having difficulty cutting their own nails or who have medical conditions such as diabetes. Available every second Thursday.

Medical Centre News  (updated September 12, 2011)


 The Medical Centre was built with VOLUNTEER HELP, NO GOVERNMENT MONEY, AND NO MORTAGE!

 Our Medical Centre was built after the doctors left the New Germany and area. We needed something new to keep our community safe and healthy. So, the community came up with a plan. We put a project together to build a new Medical Centre.
After having a contractor look over the project, the cost of building the centre was estimated to be $221,000. Deciding that the price of a contractor was way too much we started building on our own. Many volunteers from New Germany and the surrounding area came, helping wherever they could. We raised $150,000, and donations continue to be placed at the New Germany Medical Centre. When the Centre was finished we spent only $70,000 for the building, plus, we had many extra features that weren't in the contract. The following year $45,000 additional money was spent on air conditioning, landscaping, paving, and a security system for a total of $115,000. The remainder was put in the bank for future operating expenses.

The major fundraiser was very unique. Every person who donated $100 or more had their name placed on a brick and people who donated $1000 or more had their name placed on a granite plaque. The bricks and plaques were then displayed in the Medical Centre. Some of the donations were made in memory of loved ones. Bricks and plaques are still available. Thanks to all who contributed.
